Early on it was 32° and sunny but warming to 57 deg by mid-day; calm.
Hiked many trails across the reserve, mostly north to south.
High tide early, low tide in p.m. We all birded (mostly but not always) together in a.m.
until 12:30; DR & LR returned 3-4:30 p.m. AS per CBC territory limits, our list limited
to birds on the reserve, inside the RR tracks; many other birds seen on Elkhorn Slough
but not included, as outside our territory.
