Sightings for the month of June include: Mallards, Double-crested Cormorants, , American White

Pelicans, Brown Pelicans, Great Blue Herons, Great Egrets, Snowy Egrets, Willets, Long-billed Curlews, Marbled

Godwits, Whimbrel, Turkey Vultures, Osprey, White-tailed Kite Red-shouldered and Red-tailed Hawks, ,

Greater Yellowlegs, Western Gulls, Caspian Terns, Mourning Doves, Barn Owls bt pigeon

Also seen were: Anna’s Hummingbirds, Acorn Woodpeckers,nuttall’s Downy Woodpeckers, Black

Phoebes, Western Scrub-Jays, American Crows, Tree, Cliff, and Barn Swallows, Chestnut-backed Chickadees,

Bushtits, Bewick’s Wrens, Wrentit, Pacific- slope Flycatchers, Swainson’s Thrush, Western Tanager, Brown

Creeper, Spotted Towhees, California Towhees, European Starlings, Common Yellowthroat, Spotted and CA

Towhee, Song Sparrows, Brewer’s Blackbird, Lazuli Bunting, Hooded Orioles, Savannah Sparrows,

Grasshopper Sparrow, Dark-eyed Juncos, House Finches, American Goldfinches.

Also seen on the walks have been: lizards, ground squirrels, rabbits, garter and gopher snakes
